It's the most wonderful time of the year, and with that comes gratefulness for the things and people that have shaped us, loved us, and made us better. With 25 days of celebration comes 25 zetas reflecting what ZTA means to them.
1 “Zeta has taught me that you'll always have a sister there to
have your back, to be your shoulder to cry on, to be your right hand gal, to
laugh at your lame jokes, and to give you a pump up speech when all your finals
are on the same day. Zetas are there for each other no matter what and "my
sister, my responsibility" becomes a part of our everyday lives which to
me is truly amazing.” - Monica Hand PC ‘16
3 “In short, Zeta has taught me so much over the last four years.
As an exec member two years in a row Zeta taught me how to lead a chapter
of over 250 girls; I learned how to adapt when things didn't go as
planned, and the importance of patience. Zeta also taught me how to live in a
house with 39 other girls, and how your closet size multiplies when that
many girls live together. But out of all the things that being a member of Zeta
Tau Alpha has taught me, one of the most important takeaways was how much Zeta
taught me about myself. So many different girls within this chapter have
helped mold me into the person that I am today and for that I am forever
grateful.” - Mackenzie Benton PC ‘13
4 “Zeta has
taught me the importance of friendship. college brought new challenges and
hardships that i was not ready to experience, and I’m so glad I had my friends
in zeta by my side. During my first two years of college, I learned a lot of
hard lessons and lost someone very close to my heart. my friends took care of
me during some of the hardest moments of my life thus far, and I’m so thankful
to have their support and friendship.” - Hailey Bailey PC '15
5 “Zeta has taught me that I'm never alone! Not just in the sense
that I always have someone to eat with or go to the pcl with. no matter what
I'm going through, someone else has gone through it or is going through it with
me, and if not, I can rely on my sisters to help me through it!” - McKenna
Richards PC '16

7 “Zeta has taught me to be
grateful for the little things in my life. It's the encouraging text you
receive from a sister at midnight when you've been up late studying for a
final, or when your sisters will wake up at 6am to go watch the sunrise at Mt.
Bonnell with you. It's the little things like that that have made my college
experience so amazing.” - Evie Morris PC 16

taught me that love multiples. It is something both contagious and infectious

for others” - Kaylan Brown PC '15

it is to be around so many unique individuals. It has opened my eyes to see

sisterhood built on the foundation of love. Zeta has showed me the promises
that come with the invitation of our sisterhood. I have learned how to let my

learned through Zeta are everlasting, and now as a graduating senior I am more
than excited to show what I've learned to the world.” - Madi Donham PC ‘13

19 "Zeta has taught me what being a
true friend looks like. In high school, I always had a small circle of best
friends. So coming to college, I was really nervous that I wasn't going to be
able to find that close knit group again. However, not only did I find a best
friend that would drop anything to help me or listen to me, but I found 74 of
them, who know I would do the same thing for them." - Caity Callan PC '16

best version of myself." - Jules Maxwell PC ‘14

though our chapter is very diverse and full of many different personalities, we
all love and support each other no matter what." - Sara Hunter PC

24 "Zeta has taught me how you can be
best friends with people who are completely different from you and have unique
personalities. Also what it means to have people who will defend you and look
out for you no matter what." - Kayla Bradley PC '15, Vice President
25 "The best lesson I've learned
through being involved in Zeta is the importance of understanding. Being a
leader of so many diverse and strong women can be challenging, but the ability
to step back and see the greater picture is invaluable. It's all about
perspective." - Haley Frank PC '14, President
