Recruitment is coming up soon, and we are so excited to finally get back to the authentic recruitment experience. Today you'll get to know a little bit more about our 2022 Recruitment Captain, Abigail Keilen, as well as get the full Fall Recruitment schedule.
Abby is from Round Rock, Texas, and became a member of Texas Zeta in 2020. She is an incoming senior this upcoming year, majoring in Government and Sociology and minoring in Philosophy of Law.
Q&A with Abby!
What has been your favorite Zeta memory so far?
"Although I have many favorite memories, I loved Spirit Week last year when we were finally able to be together as a chapter. After a tough first year spending time mostly online and not being able to have the chapter in it's entirety at the house, being surrounded by my sisters in-person and establishing stronger connections with each other meant so much to me."
Do you have any recruitment advice for girls participating this fall?
"If I could give a PNM some advice I would say to do what makes you happy. These next four years of your life are entirely yours; spend those years somewhere you feel loved, respected, and pushed to become a better person. Trust your gut and you’ll end up exactly where you are meant to be!"
Is there anything else you would like to share?
“I am extremely excited to serve as Recruitment Captain! I am constantly in awe of the women in Zeta, and I cannot wait to help show potential new members the genuine love and sisterhood I have found here. This fall is truly going to be an unforgettable one!”
